CD Review 
              The Oliver White Group CD Control  is right on. These 12 songs are outstanding .   Oliver White  on guitar and vocals, Jim Choate on bass, Mike Baysden drums, and Jason Starkey on keys makes this is one tight CD.   Some gunslingers were also broght in for Control  like Wes Jeans  and local hero Lance Lopez.  This  CD Control with it's southern Hard Blues sound has a strong 70's feel !  On the  CD Control ; Track 1 Retribution or Track 4 What's In Store could have been on a  Nazareth album.  These songs are a great example of the CD's strong southern roots. Oliver White's music is not expermental Blues.  Rather Oliver's music  is more along the lines of  what the Sex Pistols did. The Pistols took rock and drove it in to a wall !  Well now I am not calling Oliver Punk Blues. He just does what he does with a lot of energy and a lot of control.  Live, Oliver is as good as he is in Control .  He takes the Blues adds the sweet southern soul  of Texas rock plays the hell out of it, so now  what do you get?  The Oliver White Group!  Here are some dates where you can experience the Oliver White Group:
